Built by People Who Care About Learning

Botond Varga

Botond studied at King’s College London, where he had a particular interest in the philosophy of languages. This placed him at the forefront of generative language model adoption and exploration. Teaching himself computer science, he experienced firsthand how antiquated education can still be. He formed Vergil to democratise the calibre of learning hitherto reserved for the elite.

Education is the strongest weapon in the defense of liberty.

Daniel Papp

While studying law in the Netherlands, Daniel started working on Vergil with Botond — and quickly developed a fascination for what artificial intelligence could do for education. Having sat through enough dull onboardings and upskilling himself, he knew from the get-go that it could and should be better.

What drives me is simple: seeing people smile when they realise learning can actually be fun.
